 Steve M1ERS, admin for GB7SF, is pleased to announce that enough funds have been raised from local interested                amateurs to allow the placing of an order with LAM Communications / Icom UK for the installation initially of 2M D-Star regenerative node.

GB7SF has been cleared for use on 145.7375 Mhz and 439.7375 Mhz. and will be co-located with the current M1ERS/L IRLP/Echolink node 5120 on 434.475 which has good coverage of Sheffield City.

Steve would like to thank the five local amateurs who have helped with the purchase of the Icom Equipment and also a new Dell Server to facilitate Gateway access.

 We hoped to further improve the system over time for all users !
